Interesting Concept

Pretty neat game, I just wish there was a way to end the simulation time without having to wait for it to end itself. When I fail and want to try again I have to wait for the time to run out until I can try again.

Also it would have been nice to have a bit more distinction between the anti-grav areas and normal walls.

The game itself seems a bit easy, I was able to go through all 28 levels without breaking a sweat.

Otherwise, its a fun game.

Seriously?

I sure hope this was some kind of cruel, sarcastic joke because this flash was abysmal. I waited through about one and half minutes of slow scrolling text that I could not skip only to be presented with a picture of a head with crudely drawn arms and legs, with instructions to click on crudely drawn pictures of clocks. By clicking these clocks, they begin to bleed and lose what passes for limbs. I could have made this in less than thirty minutes. If you were truly, truly serious about this flash, put at the VERY least (bare minimum, possibly even below the minimum) 2 hours of work into it. Make is seem like you actually care about your work, and you might fare better in the portal.

Says the guy who made 3 versions of a game where you try not to let your mouse touch a bunch of circles.

Spyhunter...

Reminds me of the old arcade version of spyhunter. Good stuff.

Music

The music is very short... Consider getting some real background music. There is a huge database of audio you can use in the audio portal, so why not give that a try.

Otherwise, this is a pretty decent game.

Good Concept

This game has a good concept, much like other games I have played before. However, the game starts automatically, at first I thought I was on a main menu when I was actually in the game and the time was slowly ticking. It took me a second to realize this before I began playing.

The "bonus tiles" don't seem to do anything at all.

A forfeit button, or even a system to recognize when you cant make any more moves would be nice. I was on level two and was unable to make any further moves and had to sit there until the time ran out.

An online leader board would also be nice, cause I can't do anything with my score once I lose.

Typos and capitilization, some bugs

Simple things such as capitalization can make a game seem more or less appealing. Your game fails to use any capital letters anywhere.

Also, there is a typo on the leader boards.

And I just sat still and let missiles hit me until i had -53 health until i died, that is a serious glitch considering this game has a leader board.

Samus is missing something...

Samus needs missiles for a special attack! Seriously though I literally pressed the special button a few times expecting to shoot missiles.

Everything else is spot on, though.

Wait, one more suggestion... Maybe give Simons axes a little less block destroying power? It is very easy to just go through world 1 level 2 using nothing but his axe and full power and completely demolishing the level.

The text and AI is mediocre

This could be a decent time wasting game, but the text is rather ugly in my opinion and the AI doesn't even attempt to steal the ball away from you.

can you tell me what text you found ugly?
Thanks for your comment!

"please comment on how it could be improved."

Here are a few points that I feel should be improved:

> Car controls feel abnormal. That isn't good in a game like this. These should be optimized and should be your #1 priority to prefect this before finishing your game. I can't stress that enough.

> The music at the start is quite generic and low quality, and on top of that it doesn't loop. I would suggest getting different music. Also, the second music doesn't loop at all.

> There isn't really any challange, besides the danger of running into the occasional car or two. All you have to do is get to the green arrow, which occasionally doesn't work (if you drive into the arrow nothing happens).

> Hit boxes feel weird, I was driving by a green car and it said I crashed. Hit boxes seem abnormally large.

> Graphics could be better, static images like that don't give that much of a feel for a game. Rotating tires would make the game seem faster.

I rated 5/10 because it is still unfinished, however if you were to release the game with it still looking like this I would most certainly rate it a zero.

I hope I helped.

how could the steering be improved. sharper turning?

I love this game.

Back in 8th grade, me and my friends would all play this game during computer class to see who could get the farthest. I would usually be like 12 levels ahead of them. I almost completely forgot about this game until today, when I suddenly had the crave to play all of those old, great flash games. I gotta finish this. Its an awesome game, that really requires ones skill to beat the game. There is just one problem though: I remember on level 7, if you did not move up or down, and just kept going left or right, you would be invincible.

Snubby responds:

Yeah that's true. Just didn't notice that bug while testing it, and once its released its too late.

thanks
